How to Add Music to Any Instagram Post

Instagram allows you to post video clips up to 15 seconds long. But it doesn't allow you to add audio to your posts. However, there are ways around this limitation. You can use third party apps like Descript to add music to your videos. There are a number of different features that make Descript stand out among similar tools. For example, you don't have to worry about uploading multiple files or creating a separate account just to use Descript. And since Descript works across platforms, you can easily access it on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

To start adding music to your videos, open the app and tap "Add Audio." Then select one of the following options:

• Choose from your library — If you already have music saved to your device, choose that file.

• Customize — Use the slider to adjust the volume level of the song.

• Playlist — Select a playlist to play automatically while recording your video.

Once you've selected the option you want, tap "Record Video," and begin editing your clip. When you're done, tap "Done Recording" and save your video. Now you can view it on Instagram.

If you'd rather record your video without music, simply skip step 2. Instead, tap "Start Recording" and follow steps 3 - 5.

The Best Instagram Video Formats and Specifications for 2022

Instagram is changing how people use it. In 2020, the photo-sharing app introduced IGTV, a feature that lets you add longer videos to your posts. Now, there are four different ways to upload videos on Instagram. You can choose from uploading a standard 1080p HD video, a 360° VR video, a 12 MP still image, or a GIF. If your video doesn't fit one of those formats, Instagram will automatically convert it into the correct format. And since Instagram now supports up to 60 seconds long videos, you don't have to worry about running out of space.

If you want to make sure your video looks good, you'll want to follow some guidelines. For starters, keep your resolution under 8 megapixels. Videos above that size look pixelated and blurry. Also, make sure your frame rate is set to 30 fps, and avoid posting videos with slow motion effects. Finally, make sure your video is optimized for mobile devices. This includes having a high quality video file, keeping your file sizes small, and making sure your video isn't too dark.

There are also specific specifications for each type of video. Here are the best Instagram video formats and specifications for 2022.

1080p HD - 2160 x 1440 pixels @ 30fps

360° VR - 3840 x 1920 pixels @ 15fps

12 MP Still Image - 3264 x 2448 pixels @ 10fps

GIF - 4096 x 2304 pixels @ 5fps

Editing Apps for Videos: Standard Features

The most basic features are universal among video apps. Editing tools such as trimming, cropping, merging, splitting, and stabilizing are standard across all platforms. Create Better Videos for a Higher ROI

Video content is the new king in digital marketing. More people watch online videos than read articles or view photos. In fact, according to Adobe, 90% of consumers now prefer watching videos over reading text. This shift is likely due to the rise of mobile devices, where it’s difficult to focus on longer pieces of text. And because most people spend about 30 minutes per day consuming media, marketers must make sure they’re creating content that keeps audiences engaged.

A well-crafted video will provide better conversions that text or images alone. When done correctly, video content provides a much deeper level of insight into the brand and product than traditional advertising methods. For example, a video explaining how a product works can help customers understand what they’re buying, while still being entertaining enough to keep them interested.

In addition, video content allows you to tell more stories than text or images alone, since you don’t have to worry about limited space. You can use video to explain complex ideas, show off products, and even entertain your audience.

What are the Instagram video sizes?

Instagram videos come in four different formats: square, landscape, vertical, and square portrait. They also have three different aspect ratios: 1:1, 3:2, and 16:9.

If you upload a video to Instagram, it will automatically play in the format you selected. If you don't select one, it will default to the standard 1:1 aspect ratio. You can change the aspect ratio later if you want to export the video into another file type.

When you're uploading a video, there are three options under "Video size": Square, Landscape, and Portrait. These determine what aspect ratio the video will display in. For example, if you choose "Square," the video will show up in the 1:1 aspect ratio, just like a photo. If you choose "Landscape," the video will fill the whole screen in either the 3:2 or 16:9 aspect ratio. Finally, if you choose "Portrait," the video will fit vertically within the screen, filling the entire width of the phone.

You can also choose the aspect ratio when exporting your video. To do this, go to the bottom of the video editor and tap "Export." This opens up a menu where you can choose the aspect ratio you want to save the video in.

Why should I use Descript for Instagram?
